3rd Annual 5×5 art show
Once again, Rising Star riders is holding a fundraising event at the Tehachapi Arts Center. Join us on Friday, May 2nd, 5:55PM (ends around 8PM). Rising Star Riders, in conjunction with Tehachapi Arts Center Co-op, presents our third annual 5×5 art show and sale on Fri, May 2nd. In keeping with 5×5 tradition, all art is sized 5” x 5” and will be sold for $55.55! This annual fundraising event provides area artists a chance to display their talents and allows the community to purchase a quality piece of artwork at an affordable price! Snacks and beverages will be served as part of the celebration.
In addition to the professional 5×5 artwork for sale, art created by the Rising Star Riders participants & horses will be available for purchase (at $5.55).
The inaugural 5×5 event featured over 50 artists and more than 70 pieces of art.

Sip ‘n Paint March 10, 2024
Time for a relaxing and fun event. Join us for a Sip ‘n Paint in beautiful Bear Valley Springs. We provide all art supplies and 2 – 5oz pours of local wine. Tehachapi is now wine country and local wineries donated their signature wine for this event. This is an event for 21 and older. In addition to wine, appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Please arrive on time as we have an instructor who will start promptly to guide us through the masterpiece painting. All proceeds benefit Rising Star Riders a local non-profit serving the needs of children with disabilities. This is an adult only event. 21 and older please.
The event is located at the Bear Valley Equestrian Center Lounge. When you arrive, park in the first parking lot and walk to the West of the parking area where you will see signage and the walkway to the lounge entrance. This is an indoor event.
